Benton House believes in a movement that can build healthy, diverse, just, and thriving communities! In the past couple of years, Benton House has worked with community partners and Bridgeport residents to address local and broad issues. Because of this work, Bridgeport has played a key role in closing nearby coal plants, fighting social service cuts, and working to re-instate the 31st Street Bus.
We invite you to join us at Benton House at 1:30pm for refreshments and fellowship! Following refreshments, we will travel to the celebration/public meeting at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church: 8235 S. South Shore Drive, Chicago, IL.
Come celebrate Martin Luther King's legacy by coming together with community leaders, families, students, and workers on Sunday, January 19th! For more info or to RSVP: email@example.com / 773-927-6420.
